TabTrade Review - The Good and the Catch

TabTrade — What It Is

TabTrade.com launched in March 2026. Online broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a New Zealand-regulated broker.

His background tells you something. It says the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. But better than a founder with no industry background.

They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.

Market coverage: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, shares, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a broker that launched in March 2026, that coverage is solid.

The Software

They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Having both is useful. Pick what suits your style.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you have used MetaTrader before, there are no surprises.

cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Cleaner order book. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders find it more natural after comparing.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for bots but is only on the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView is reportedly coming. That would round things out once it is live.

What You Pay

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Straightforward. $0 to start. Good for beginners.

Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the raw spread is often under 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. Tab Trade has no minimum.

VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, faster fills, custom pricing. Not relevant to typical accounts. Skip it unless you run serious volume.

Infrastructure

The execution is the thing TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. Those are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers quote hundreds of milliseconds.

Does it matter? For short-term trading, it does. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that the setup is serious. That signals something about priorities.

Pair those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering is strong. Few brokers in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.

Safety

This is the thing you need to be straight about. The broker is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.

That said. The founder came from BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. This does not guarantee anything. It should factor into your decision.

The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense depends on you.

Deposit Bonus

TabTrade has a deposit bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard sign-up bonus. You put money in, they top up your balance. The normal fine print: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before funding.

The full review, including regulation, withdrawals, click here pricing, more info and the bonus get more info terms, is at Trade The Day.
